Rosary Altar Sodality

The Saint Dunstan Rosary Altar Sodality has been in existence since 1957. It is our responsibility to provide vestments for our priest, deacons, and altar servers, along with the dry cleaning of same.  We provide the monies for altar linens, vessels, and whatever is needed for our liturgies and church functions.

Our usual fundraisers are:                   

§ Marathon Bingo-Each New Year’s Day that does not fall on weekend Mass schedule. (for those who want to get away from Marathon Football!)

§ Annual Spring Garage Sale-Usually held around Easter Week.

§ Annual Fall Garage Sale-Usually held in October.

§ Card Party- An evening of salad, desserts, games and raffles.

Other functions in the Parish we can participate in are:

§ Parish Picnic- Sodality provides the coffee, tea, nachos, salads, and baked beans.

§ Lenten Activities- Designed to enrich our Faith by having speakers, day retreats, audio or visual programs.  Some of these are provided by Sodality, other by the Parish.

§ Living Rosary‑The first Monday in May along with the students of our school and CCD.

Socially, we have coffee and dessert at each monthly meeting with a catered Christmas dinner in December and a pizza party in May.

Our meetings are from September to May on the first Tuesday after the first Sunday of each month at 7:00 p.m. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate Communion Sunday at the 10 o’clock Mass followed by prayers.

Our Annual dues are $5.00 and due in September or upon enrollment in Sodality.

All women of the Parish are welcome to join us or to sit in on a meeting to see if Sodality is right for you.  If you are interested, just come to a meeting or put your name and number in the collection basket.  We need you!
