Wouldn't it be nice to have a prayer to Saint Dunstan which could be used at parish functions? If you think so, please participate in helping the Worship Commission to develop such a prayer. Below is an older Prayer to St. Dunstan which might be revised to better suit the language and culture of our day. If you would be willing to help, please place your submission in the collection basket, bring it to the Parish Office, or hand it to Fr. LaCuesta anytime through February 19. The Worship Commission will then select one of the submissions by February 22nd (Ash Wednesday). The "winner" will receive a prize.
Men of Saint Dunstan- Did you know that we have a softball team? Did you ever think about playing for our parish? Then it is you we are looking for!! If you are 29 years of age or older please sign up to play. There is no limit of how many players we have. If we get enough for more than one team we will make that work as well. If you have any interest please email Neil Lezotte at the parish office
Now that the Christmas season is done and the decorations are packed away - we are focusing on the next BIG Parish fun event - the International Taste Fest. We are looking for a few volunteers to help get this event in gear. On Thursday, January 12, we will have a planning session at 6:30 PM in the School. Please come and bring a friend.
In the meantime - get out GRANNY'S COOKBOOK or RECIPE BOX and pick out a couple of really exceptional family favorites to bring and share. There will be prizes for the BEST dish and extra-special food and fun for all.
But, FIRST get out your calendar and circle, Saturday, FEBRUARY 18, 2012.
