I graduated from Madonna University with a BA and teaching certificate in 1994
TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
I began my teaching career at Saints Peter and Paul in Detroit where I taught first grade for three years. I was hired to teach third grade here at Saint Dunstan in 1997. Since I have been here I have also taught first grade and am now enjoying my first year as a fifth grade teacher.
My goal as a teacher is to ensure that all my students learn in a safe, Jesus centered environment. Respect, understanding and acceptance are important values that all students learn in my class.
CLASS SCHEDULE:
Our class schedule includes our elective classes. The Fifth grade has Science with the sixth grade teacher, Ms. Fisher, five days a week, they also participate in the Science Fair which is held in February. and .
Spanish is taught five days a week by Mrs. L. Miller
Music is taught one day a week by Kathy Beckley
Art is taught one day a week by Steve White
Computer is taught one day a week by Jamie Dingus Beckley
Physical Education is taught one day a week by Laura Babik
Science is taught fice days a week by Mrs Sally Fisher. Our Students also participate in the annual Science Fair held in February.
Math, Spelling, and Social Studies are taught in the morning
Literature, Religion and English are taught in the afternoon
Mass is celebrated as an entire school on Friday morning. The Fifth grade participates by doing the readings and offertory.
