Kindergarten Class

  • NAME:  Jennifer McCormick

  • DEGREE:

BA from the University of Michigan

    TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

I am certified to teach K-8 all subjects in a self-contained classroom. Additionally, I am certified to teach Language Arts in grades 6-8. I graduated from U-M in June, 1996, substitute taught at many public and private schools for one year, then was hired at Saint Dunstan Catholic School in August 1997.

I have been teaching at Saint Dunstan Catholic School for 10 years…11 this fall. I feel that learning independence, and making independent choices, is extremely important, especially in Kindergarten. It gives students a sense of self and feeling competent.

Kindergarten Parents- Listen to, and trust, your child. They usually are pretty accurate at conveying information and you just may learn something!
