News and Information

Welcome to Saint Dunstan School

Welcome to our school! Together we will share a journey of faith as each student fulfills the potential that God has created for them. By working as a team, it is our goal that every student will become a mature, responsible and active member of society. As a school community, we believe in guiding the students in the development of healthy, respectful relationships. Within our family atmosphere, we help the faith of our students grow through an active prayer life, participation in the sacraments, and teachings of the Catholic Church. We believe that students can, and should, excel academically through a combination of disciplined effort and guided learning.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I would like to congratulate all of our eighth grade school and religious education students who received The Holy Spirit on Tuesday, May 6th during the Sacrament of Confirmation. I have no doubt that they will continue their faith journey as young men and women.

Special thanks to Sabrina Queen and all of her catechists and volunteers as well as Bishop Reiss for a terrific evening.

Don Lipinski--- Principal

MAY CROWNING!!

Starting at 6:30 PM

We would love to see all the families come together this Monday May 12 starting at 6:30 PM to share in our Living Rosary. As a tribute to Mary the Mother of Jesus the students and faculty gather together to say the rosary. Each person represents a bead in the chain. This is a very special time and shows that going to church can be fun and a bit exciting.

MAX & ERMA'S Dining to Donate

May 13th

Tired of cooking? Join the rest of the Saint Dunstan School and Parish Community on Tuesday, May 13th at the Westland MAX & ERMA's at Warren and Newburgh Roads. This is an all day event, so if you can't make dinner, meet your best friend for lunch! 20% of your bill will be donated to the school. YOU MUST HAVE A FLYER for this to count. Flyers can be printed from the link above or will be available in the church and school lobbies soon. We raised just over $500 for our school during our March event at MAX & ERMA'S. Can we top that? Remember that MAX & ERMA'S also participate in our T.R.I.P. program. 13% of each $20 gift card will benefit programs in our parish community. Order your card today after Mass to make sure you have it for the fundraiser. We ran out of cards for the March event!

Saint Dunstan News Group

Sign Up Today !!

Saint Dunstan Catholic School has a Yahoo News Group. Please join this group! It is a very powerful tool we can use. Some of the features include a message board, a storage area to place files such as fliers, we can post photos, we can have useful links, and a calendar. Click on the link at the left side of this page.

Comerica Park Non-Profit

Saint Dunstan has a great opportunity to raise funds for our school by working the concession stands at Comerica Park. The amount of people we get to work each event determines what kind of vending site we are assigned.

This year at Comerica Park we will be at Opening Day March 31st. This is a HUGE opportunity for us. We have 31 games scheduled so far, and could get more. The list will soon be posted. This year we have a very good chance to make some significant money for our school. We have a very good time, the friendships we build, the people we meet, and the customers we serve and who frequent our booths make this a fun and exciting time. We would love to have you part of this tremendous opportunity. If you would like to sign up for a game or three, please contact Don Lipinski at the school office.

T.R.I.P

The TUITION REDUCTION INCENTIVE PROGRAM is a fantastic way to support our school. T.R.I.P allows you to purchase gift cards for various retailers. Each retailer gives back a percentage of the cost of the card. 90 percent of the "rebates" goes directly to your tuition account. You can see us after school on Monday inside school. Also we are there after every weekend Mass. We look forward to seeing you!!!
