Mission
We, the faculty, staff and parents of Saint Dunstan Catholic School, empowered by our own faith, believe ourselves to be a loving, growing and evolving school community of faith.
We commit ourselves to:
Enriching the faith development of our youth through the reading of God´s Word, participating in the Sacraments, and promoting life-long catechists.
Providing opportunities for our youth to achieve academic excellence, develop positive self-images, and to become active participants in the learning process.
Caring for and accepting all peoples in an attitude of respect, and working in service for social justice in the model of Jesus Christ.
Philosophy
Saint Dunstan Catholic School serves as an integral extension of the educational ministry of the Church.
It is in this role that we endeavor to:
Develop and direct the growth of the whole person, centered in Jesus Christ, through the integration of culture and faith, and by encouraging a living commitment to Christian service to all people.
Encourage and assist parents in their God-given tasks of nurturing the faith development of their children; developing the academic skills needed for lifelong success; instilling a sense of responsibility to self and others; guiding moral direction; and inspiring the desire in each child to live a life dedicated to Christ.
Incorporate truth and Christian values in every aspect of the curriculum.
Respect and value the diversity unique to our school by promoting social justice, and by honoring in each person the dignity of self, given to them by God.
