There once was a parish named Saint Dunstan’s,
that wanted to do some fun stuff....
So off to John’s condo in October they went,
to plan for a very fun, fun event.   
They laughed and they ate and they talked for a bit
and decided ‘Saint Valentine’s Massacre’ would be a big hit!
They put John in a zoot suit and gave Dick a Tommy gun
and decided to invite the police just or fun.  
Then reality sank in, and they thought again,
Oh no! Father Don, would kill us if we do this event!

So off to John’s condo in November they went,
to re-plan for a fun, fun event.   
They laughed and they ate, and they thought again,
what can we do for a fun, fun event.
Dorothy, bright eyed, said I know what to do
we’ll build a big board and fill it with balloons!  
Planning away they set the big day,
and meet at John’s condo to just for the hey!
They laughed and they ate, as each detail they laid
because they knew they’d have a very big day.   

The day arrived and they all came early,
to decorate the hall so very pretty.
Alberta had flowers, and Kim a Big Heart
and Ralph. Dick an Ron took care of the darts.  
They stapled, they taped, they decorated the room.
Adrian stuffed balloons, till she thought she would swoon
From atop of the ladder, George yelled what’s the matter.
Mary skirted tables like a professional whiz  
While Rick and Ron stocked the Bar like two kids.
Everyone up front practiced their Shoot
While Cathy in the back counted the Pot (money that is).

The evening arrived and the lights were dimmed down  
While John video the audience, Dick ordered them around.
Ralph, Dave and Linda took charge of the board and
Boy, Oh Boy! Do they know how to keep score.
The people lined up and threw the darts   
it emptied their pockets and filled up their hearts.
The gals were kept busy and on the move
as they sold raffle tickets through out the room
Mary was spotted jumping up and down   
trying to get a better picture of the Heart it was found.
While back in the kitchen up rose a squeal
Alberta was so excited, she did a cartwheel!

All who came had a great time,
from Claudia with her ring to Rose who is so fine.
The music was great and we were all well fed ...
if you didn’t have a good time you must be dead.
But as we look back we left out the best,   
‘Condo John’ missed out on the fest!
So with little ado, we give this to you
